PROFILE OF OUR FUNERAL CHAPEL
CHAPEL RIDGE Funeral Home offers a full range of facilities to meet your every need.
The central architectural feature of the building is a glass corridor leading to the chapel and visitation facilities, which surrounds a large interior garden courtyard. The limestone patio and striking stone seating wall provides a quiet place for fresh air and meditation or conversation with friends.
The elegant chapel will comfortably seat 150 people, and has the flexibility to accommodate the largest or smallest of funeral gatherings. Our beautifully decorated visitation rooms are spacious and full of natural light, yet intimate and private, with direct access to an outdoor courtyard.
The family lounge can be used for receptions, or combined with the use of a visitation room to provide additional space for people to relax and chat. Again there is direct access to an outdoor courtyard, a cozy gas fireplace, and kitchen facilities to provide for your reception needs. We can arrange catering from a choice of recommended companies, or you can make your own preparations. We will provide freshly ground gourmet coffee, cream, sugar and milk, as well as a selection of teas. China cups and saucers, tea plates and cutlery are also available for your use.
Adjacent to the lounge, our children's playroom is equipped with audio-visual resources, books, and activities as well as a private washroom with change table.
The arrangement rooms are spacious and very comfortable with plenty of natural light. Juice, tea, and our fresh gourmet coffee are always available.
The washrooms are large, elegant and meticulously maintained, with attention to every detail.
Chapel Ridge is one of the most beautiful funeral homes in the greater Toronto area. Our grounds offer plenty of green space, with lawns and gardens dotted with mature trees leading to the ravine which has a tributary of the Rouge River flowing through it. We have incorporated into our design many courtyards and outdoor spaces for quiet meditation and privacy. Chapel Ridge also has parking for over 120 cars right on our property, the largest or among the largest of any funeral home in the greater Toronto area.
