Condolence From: Bill and Carol Sirman
Condolence: Dear Mary Anne and family:
Bill and I were saddened to learn of Rod's recent death and extend our sincere condolences.
We have fond memories of out time as undergraduates together at Queen's and enjoyed reminiscing with him about them at Arts' 64 reunions.
He was a loyal Queen's man, an outstanding credit to his profession, for which his textual work is a monument and a grand person.
We trust the wonderful memories you have will help to sustain you in this difficult time.
Sincerely Bill and Carol Sirman

Condolence From: Pat Dobec
Dear Mary Anne and family - I have many fond memories of Rod:
I will always remember singing camp songs and washing dishes with Rod after a Saturday evening gathering.
He could read a green like no other, only wish I had tapped in to that skill years ago.
He was an exceptional role model and a true Southampton Champion. Thinking of all of you at this challenging time. xoxo Patty

Condolence From: Larry & Christine Foy
Condolence: Christine and I are very sorry to learn of Rod's passing. He was a stalwart partner with a great sense of fun and lived life passionately. I have fond memories of the boys' weekend in Southampton in the early 90's and a few less than profitable poker games with Rod during his years at MT. Our deepest sympathies to you Mary Ann and to your family.

Condolence From: Patricia Homonylo
Condolence: My dearest Mary Anne and family.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. While we have never met, You and Rod may be surprised to know that are two of the kindest and generous people I have ever known. Many years ago, you opened your Southhampton paradise to me and my husband. Graham was ailing from cancer and things were difficult for us in so many ways. Without ever meeting us, and on the word of your son Andy, you opened your doors, your home and your hearts to us. That week in Southhampton remains of the most wonderfully memorable times of my life. Rod will certainly be missed by me!

God Bless
Patricia Seaton Homonylo (and the late Graham Seaton)

Condolence From: dale
Condolence: Rod was a good friend at public school, but we only had intermittent contact afterward. He had an astonishing career, one highlight of which was defending little Walkerton during their water crisis. To me, it showed his strong community feeling (he loved Bruce County) and desire to serve the public interest. I am glad I told him that at the time. I am very sorry not to be able to attend the celebration of his life. I hope this message brings some small comfort to his family. Dale Taylor

Condolence From: Dave and Ann Graham
Condolence: Mary Anne and family. We are saddened to hear of Rod's passing. We have fond memories of our times together commuting on the train and celebrating socially as the FATS group. His contribution as a community and governance leader was far reaching and very significant.
Rod has left us with a long lasting legacy and he will be missed.

Condolence From: Pat and Paula Gibbons
Condolence: Paula and I are deeply saddened by the news of Rod's passing. Our condolences to Mary Anne and family. Rod will be missed by everyone he touched. He was a passionate, determined leader, a great lawyer and protector of our environment.
I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with Rod - drafting and editing documents and, of course, golfing Southampton.
